A Near Unfortunate Accident

This was sent from a friend of mine: I'll re-type what she wrote...

Read The Caption on the first photo ....then look at the second photo...

Look at the picture above, and you can see where this driver
broke through the guardrail, on the right side of the culvert,
where people are standing on the road, pointing.

The pick-up was traveling about 75 mph, from right to left,
when it crashed through the guardrail.

It flipped end-over-end, bounced off and across the culvert outlet,
and landed right-side-up on the left side of the culvert, facing the opposite direction from which the driver was traveling.

The 22-year-old driver and his 18-year-old passenger
were unhurt, except for minor cuts and bruises.

Just outside Flagstaff , AZ on U.S. Hwy 100.

Now, look at the second picture below . .

                                                     -_-  -_- -_-  -_- -_-  -_- -_-  -_-

If this guy didn't believe in God before,
do you suppose he believes now?

They are two lucky people... -_-

I hope they don't get acrophobic nightmares after this... -_-

A Life-Death Experience a Microwave away

Clumsy me,... I forget that one of the most convenient meal-heating invention can also a fatal one with improper use.

About a week ago, which was one of those would be dull mornings, I would ghoulishly awake from me overly-comfy bed, wash up and, me thought of getting something simple for a typical breakfast meal; a few pieces of garlic bread and a cup of hot cocoa.

The only thing was that I needed some hot water, which I haven't boiled yet.

And so,...the next best thing comes to mind... the microwave...

           While using this plastic cup...

Figured I set... thought I'd set the timer to 20 seconds... ended up not noticing me pointer finger pressing onto the mintue button twice...

While spreading garlic onto me toast and waiting for the cocoa to heat up, this happened...

        Then comes the messy scene...

(Note: I forgot to take pictures of the scene, so some things were photo-made...)

And this was how the cup looked like...

So what actually happened? Here're a few diagrams... me, having barlic bread..

           The blast..

Lucky for me, I was sitting next to the device unstratched, still half awake...                                       And if I were to be, say... a meter in front of it, here the heavier pieces would have been the fatal kill...

I would have ended up like this... with this written on my face...

This is what it looked like right now on the inside after cleaning up the place... and it still works, just without the spinnig polymer glass platform and the internal lights...

But then again, even if the microwave didn't explode... I would have faced another fatal dilemma in the long run...

But the mosat unfortunate thing that day was, ... realizing that its expiry date was due the week before... Lol...

Misconception of a Buffet

Ahhh... Buffet ...the ideal sound of eating as much as one wants and whatever the cooks provides … as long as one get past the slightly high toll price, that is…

And yet, people still can’t grasp the idea of stuffing up till they’re piggy-bellied; they had to take in the habit of ‘over-taking’ and competing with one another just to get a few extra plate full of the cooks’ blood and sweat just for the sake of getting it and only to let the cleaners to dump them away…

…whatta waste of food…

Once, in a typical Chinese buffet that I went to, this unethical habit has shown its presence among the other consumers…

This one was left by a family of two mothers and four children,…the mothers most probably didn’t teach their children on how to save food…

Here’s from a group of male adult friends…

And the habit continues till breakfast; sigh,…left for the birds and bees…

Apparently, this may contribute to a reason why there is someone else who is choking up their tummies due to starvation…

And the cleaners don’t seem to mind considering them as garbage when it’s obviously untouched…

Well at least someone has the brains of ‘taking away’ food and prevent themselves from cooking for a day…

Sigh, I just hope that someone would actually understand the idea of saving food as the world’s supply can’t handle the current population and the next billions of unplanned babies, no thanks to ‘the more children the merrier’ idea… (“news.sky.com/skynews/Home/World-News/Octuplets-Born-In-US-Eight- Babies-For-California-Mother/Article/200901415210908”)

I also hope that someone would come up with a recycling solution of used food, thus ending the food wastage and making farmers to lose their profits due to demand on recycled food…

…and turning recycled food consumers into this…

…and converting former crop fields into this…
